Newborn Care
What newborn care includes
Our pediatricians care for all babies, including healthy newborns, premature infants, and babies with special medical needs. At each visit, we track growth, check vital signs, perform physical exams, and provide vaccines at the recommended ages.
But newborn care is about more than checkups
We’re here to answer your questions about feeding, sleep, development, and adjusting to life with a new baby. Whether it’s guidance on breastfeeding, managing fevers, or simply reassurance, our team is by your side.
Wellness Check Schedule
Your baby’s first appointment typically happens within a few days of leaving the hospital. After that, regular visits are essential to monitor growth and development. We follow the recommended schedule for well checks:
Newborn visit: 1–2 days after coming home
- 2 weeks
- 2 months
- 4 months
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 24 months
- 30 months
- 3 years
After age 3, your child will transition to annual well checks. Because we care for children from birth through young adulthood, you can count on continuity of care as your child grows.
Choosing Your Pediatrician
The best time to choose a pediatrician is before your baby arrives. We encourage expectant parents to schedule a complimentary prenatal visit to meet our providers, tour the office, and get their questions answered. Having your pediatrician in place before delivery ensures seamless care—even if your baby arrives earlier than expected.
