Sick Visit
When your child isn’t feeling well, you want answers—and relief—fast. At Great Destinations Pediatrics, we offer same-day sick visits so your child can be seen quickly and get back on the road to healing.
Our pediatric team provides prompt, compassionate care for common childhood illnesses such as:
- Abdominal Pain
- Congestion
- Eye Discharge or Infection
- Rashes or Hives
- Vomiting and/or Diarrhea
- Allergic Reactions
- Coughs
- Influenza
- Sore Throat or Strep Throat
- Asthma
- Earache
- Migraine
- Upper Respiratory Infection
While many common illnesses can be evaluated during a sick visit, certain symptoms are red flags that require prompt medical attention.
Call Us Right Away if Your Child Has:
- A fever of 100.4ºF or higher in infants under 12 months
- A fever that lasts more than three days
- A fever of 102ºF or higher with other symptoms in children over one year
- Monitoring for anemia, diabetes, or asthma
- Unusual symptoms that continue for more than three days
- Persistent or severe pain
- A widespread rash
Additional concerning symptoms—especially when paired with fever—include rash, stiff neck, vomiting, or headache.
When your child is sick, please call our office as early in the day as possible so we can arrange a same-day appointment if needed.

After-Hours Care
Illness doesn’t always happen during business hours. If your child becomes sick after hours, please call our office and follow the voicemail instructions to reach the on-call provider. For emergencies, dial 911 immediately.
