Where are you located?
We are located in Young Arizona about 15 miles north of Young, right on Haigler Creek. This is a luxury cabin that sits on 5 acres. Young is a very small town but does have a couple of small restaurants a bar and a winery. A cool place to check out if you have some down time or the hunt is over.
Do I need a license to hunt?
Yes, you must have a valid hunting license and the proper tag for the particular game you are hunting. This goes for Elk, Mule Deer, White-tailed Deer, Turkey, and Javelinas. Our area also mountain lions, bears, and coyotes in our area. Feel free to grab a mountain lion and/or bear tag as well if that interest you.
What time are the hunts with a guide?
Typically, the guide will determine what time everyone needs to head out depending on what location they are planning on hunting that day.
How does the transportation work with a guide?
We have ATVs and ORVs we can use to get around faster. Feel free to bring your own as well!
Is there WIFI?
Yes! We have Star Link. It’s very fast. We also have streamed TV on site.
How do you handle Processing and preservation for taxidermy?
We can process the animal for you if you prefer for a fee, discuss this with your host or guide. Options include jerky, brats, summer sausage –– ask about pricing. We are also skilled in caping out an animal for taxidermy if that’s something you’re looking for as well. There is a decent size freezer on the property. There are local taxidermists we are partnered with, just ask for more details.
What if I am physically challenged?
We will do our best to accommodate you the best we can. These are public ground animals and are very difficult to get to sometimes.
Can Spouses, Guest, and/or Children come?
Absolutely just keep in mind the head count of people so everyone can be comfortable. For the all-inclusive package, pricing will vary depending on how many people come.
What if I have food allergies?
Please let us know so we can accommodate accordingly.
Are we off grid?
No, we are not off grid. Power is supplied from Arizona Power Company; however power does go out from time to time and there is a backup generator on site to still keep you comfortable.
What meals drinks are provided on the all-inclusive package?
A dinner menu will be discussed depending on how many people are coming, but typically breakfast will be served, lunches will be power bars, trail mix, jerkey, snacky food, and a hearty dinner will be served in the evening. There will be soda and water provided. Guests are responsible for their own alcohol, but accommodations can be made to pick it up.
Can you bring your pets?
Pets are welcome and we do not require no pet fees. Please just pick up after them.
When is check-in / check-out?
Typical check in is 6pm on the night before the hunt starts. Typical check-out on the last day of the hunt is 7pm.
