Our Process

Welcome to the heart of our craftsmanship. At Kasper Custom Remodeling our process is as meticulous as it is creative, designed to transform your vision into a stunning reality. From initial consultation to final unveiling, we blend expertise with personalized care to ensure every detail of your custom home remodeling project reflects your unique style and exceeds your expectations. Explore how we turn inspiration into craftsmanship, one meticulous step at a time.

Initial Consultation

Objective: This is our first conversation to understand your project, needs, desires, and overall vision. We aim to comprehend not only your remodeling ideas, but also where you are in life and what you hope to achieve for the future.

Who’s Involved: You and the Kasper Support Staff

Location: Typically, a 15-minute conversation over the phone, but we can also meet at your home for a more interactive consultation.

Project Exploration

Objective: We begin building our partnership with you. Our designer will visit your home to see the project site and ask a lot of questions to determine the project scope and understand your specific wants and needs. We’ll touch on budget considerations and discuss initial ideas on how the project can come together, keeping your timelines and budget in mind. Additionally, we’ll introduce our design agreement and explain the design process.  This meeting generally takes an hour.

Design Agreement

Objective: Before our designers can fully commit to creating detailed plans for your remodel, we’ll review and sign our design agreement. This ensures our designers can dedicate their time and energy to translating your vision into formal plans.

Who’s Involved: You and the Kasper Designer

Location: The agreement is sent digitally, but a printed version is also available for signing.

Design Development

Objective: In this crucial phase, our Certified Designer will visit your home to take precise measurements of your existing space, and further explore design requirements. A budget range is established so we can provide the best design advice to meet your needs. From here, we begin creating detailed plans that will bring your dream to life.  3D concept designs will be presented to you at our office on our big screen monitor so you can see what we have in mind for your project.

Project Design Approval

Objective: With the concept design plans in place, we bring in our Construction team to review the plans and work with the Designer to create an estimated cost for your project. If the design and estimated project cost is approved, we create a construction contract.  After approval of the contract, we work with you to finalize the selections and design elevations, resulting in a complete, permittable set of plans and specifications documents.  With these plans and specifications, we perform an onsite review with our Trades and Construction team to confirm the scope of the project resulting in a fixed, no change order, guaranteed price. This stage can be daunting for many homeowners, but Kasper excels here by providing guaranteed pricing. We commit to the price we give you, regardless of unforeseen issues.
